This roof replacement project was carried out with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to longevity. The scope of work encompassed multiple essential steps, ensuring not only an aesthetic transformation but a robust and durable roofing system.

First, the existing stone ballast and EPDM were carefully removed and disposed of off-site. To enhance insulation and energy efficiency, a layer of 20 PSI 1.5" polyiso insulation was meticulously overlayed. To match the new insulation heights, wood blocking was strategically installed along the gravel stop edges. The core of the roofing solution was the installation of a white 60 mil TPO membrane, mechanically attached using Rhino Bond technology. This membrane was expertly terminated under the existing coping cap with counter flashing and an aluminum termination bar, ensuring a seamless, watertight seal.

To strengthen the roofing system's resilience, new 24-gauge, Kynar finish, shop-fabricated gravel stop edge metal and aluminum retrofit drains were introduced. These components contribute to the long-term integrity of the roof, safeguarding against water intrusion. Finally, premium TPO walkway pads were installed around the large mechanical units and the roof hatch, enhancing safety and providing a durable surface for routine maintenance.
