This project involved the restoration of 22,000 SF of an existing mechanically fastened, button-style EPDM. The existing roof system received an initial surface preparation/cleaning to ensure adhesion of the liquid-applied system and a primer to improve the adhesion. An application of a liquid-applied silicone membrane was applied to provide a durable, seamless and water tight barrier over the existing system. Finally, we applied an acrylic topcoat to protect the membrane system from UV rays and enhance the aesthetic appearance of the roof.
