Securing the Rooftop Future of Asbury United Methodist Church

The Asbury United Methodist Church has been a symbol of tradition and community for decades. Its stunning architecture and rich history makes it a focal point in downtown Harrisonburg. As the church continues to serve as a gathering place for worship, events, and community activities, it became essential to address the leaks and water drainage issues so that future generations can experience this beloved institution.

We are committed to ensuring that the re-roof and renovations seamlessly blend with the existing structure, maintaining the church’s unique charm and character. We will implement state-of-the-art roofing solutions to enhance the durability and weather resistance of multiple sections of the church’s roof. This includes the use of high-quality materials designed to withstand the test of time and the Virginia weather. As part of the project, we will also introduce energy-efficient roofing features, including the replacement of the original slate tile with Ecostar Majestic Slate, an environmentally-friendly alternative to natural slate. The synthetic tile will provide easier maintenance and protection against the most extreme elements such as rain, hail, snow, fire, extreme temperature change and UV sunlight.

The kick-off of this project signifies a new chapter for Asbury United Methodist Church.  The entire community is invited to join in the excitement as we embark on this journey to preserve and enhance a cherished landmark. Stay tuned for more updates as we work diligently to bring the Asbury United Methodist Church roofing project to fruition.
