At Back Creek Valley Elementary, we embarked on a transformative roofing project spanning multiple sections, each meticulously executed to ensure the school's long-term protection. In Section 1, our journey commenced with the removal of the existing roof ballast, paving the way for careful inspection of the fiberglass insulation, overlaying a 20 PSI 1.5" polyiso insulation, and meticulously adhering a white 60 mil TPO membrane. This section was rounded off with the installation of new 24-gauge, Kynar finish, shop-fabricated gravel stop around the perimeter, delivering a robust roofing solution.
Section 2 continued the meticulous approach with a similar level of scrutiny, focusing on the polyiso insulation's integrity. The project featured the addition of 20 PSI 1/8" per foot tapered insulation, ensuring positive water drainage, and the installation of an efficient drainage system with two new aluminum retrofit drains.
In Section 3, we demonstrate our commitment to comprehensive roofing solutions, addressing the installation of a well-engineered 20 PSI 1/8" per foot tapered insulation package and introducing new 24-gauge, Kynar finish, shop-fabricated box gutters equipped with 3” x 4” corrugated aluminum downspouts. The integration of gravel stops further fortified the roof's perimeter. Our relentless dedication to quality was evident in Sections 4 through 10, with each section receiving precise attention to detail, similar to sections 1-3.
