CFMA Blue Ridge Corporate Challenge: Skyline Roofing Takes the Corn hole Crown

CFMA Blue Ridge recently kicked off its 2023 Corporate Challenge with an exciting Cornhole Tournament, where construction companies and their partners competed for a worthy cause. The CFMA Corporate Challenge aims to raise funds for scholarships that support local students pursuing finance or accounting roles in the construction industry at four-year and community colleges.

Sponsored by Truist Bank, this year's challenge also received support from Skyline Roofing Inc., who served as the food and beverage sponsor. The event brought together participants from various companies, including insurance firms, bankers, and accountants, all vying for victory in the first of a series of competitions.

Skyline Roofing proved to be a force to be reckoned with, showcasing their bag tossing prowess and unwavering determination. With a firm grip and precise aim, they unleashed a barrage of bags, strategically scoring crucial points in each round. Their dedication and skill paid off, securing them the coveted first-place position in the corn hole tournament.

Nielsen Builders and Harman Construction also demonstrated their talent and competitive spirit, earning second and third place, respectively. The competition not only highlighted the participants' corn hole expertise but also underscored their commitment to supporting the CFMA scholarship fund.

The success of the event fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participating companies, building anticipation for the upcoming challenges. The CFMA Blue Ridge Corporate Challenge will continue with bowling, putt-putt, and trivia competitions throughout the year.

Skyline Roofing is proud to be aligned with CFMA Blue Ridge and its esteemed member organizations. The company's involvement in the challenge exemplifies their dedication to both excellence in their field and supporting the aspirations of future finance and accounting professionals in the construction industry. As the Corporate Challenge continues, Skyline Roofing looks forward to further showcasing their skills, fostering community connections, and contributing to the valuable cause of providing scholarships to local students.
